Virginia, I agree. I'll judge the car separate from the driver. I love a GTO no matter who is driving it.
Actually, I have two friends who own a Ferrari, and each of them are amazing people. Of course, they're owners of front-engine, V-12 machines from the 1960's. With Pininfarina bodywork. No gold-chain Magnum PI cars there.
