You got it. The last two computers I bought were Apples (for my daughters). Both were up and running and hooked to my home network in less than 10 minutes. The one before was a high end gaming machine Dell for my son. It took me two hours to get it going, there are still wires that we both get tangled in, and I recently spent 7 or 8 hours on the phone with a dell rep re-installing the operating system... the rep asked if he could send a repair guy to my house, and even though I had an expensive warranty, they wouldn't do it. Note that we had a mac laptop just as messed-up, and we brought to the Apple store, and they replaced everything. Also, with everything getting so web centered, the reasons to have PS rather than a Mac are going away. I still use a PC for work, but am on the verge of switching back to a Mac.. one comment, however, is that the moue looks cool, but the ergonomics of the Apple mouse suck. Great picture, and note that that the tangle of wires in my son's room is actually worse than the picture by a huge margin.

Unfortunately, my 8-core MacPro looks like the Dell on the right. With dual monitors, 4TB or so of external storage and a ton of peripherals, there is really no way around it. Though I do love the simplicity of the iMac...

Now if they would just fix the little problem of not having a replacement for the 12in Powerbook!!! Flying in coach with this 15in form factor is getting tiresome when the person in front of you pushes the seat *all* the way back. That upcoming trip to Japan is not looking comfortable unless I can get some new small form factor Apple goodness...
