I read your Business Week column, and fully agree. You might be interested in this: www.eightprinciples.com - it's a short flash video on The Eight Irresistible Principles of Fun, created in part as a response to wondering how to get innovation/creativity/happiness/purpose into organizations.
It might also connect wtih your "create infectious actions" piece - the movie's had a great viral life (and my own personal mission is 'to infect a billion people with the possibility virus')
